Please Sign-up to Help on the Stage, Costume or Props Crew

We need help behind the scenes to make the show a success! Please sign up for as many crew slots as you are able.

Stage crew (moving set pieces on stage during the performance)
Dresser/Costume crew (helping back stage to get cast in and out of costumes)
Props crew (helping in the wings to hand the cast their props)

It can be very helpful to sign up for one dress rehearsal date (July 23-25) as well as a performance date. This way you can get the hang of your job at a rehearsal and you’ll be ready for the big performance!

Cast Party Forms Due July 21

If your cast member wold like to participate in fun events post-performance, please print out the following Cast Party form and submit it with you payment by July 21.

Rehearsals Move to Forest View on Monday, July 16

Only 8 more rehearsals until the show opens! Starting Monday, July 16 our rehearsals will take place at Forest View Theater located at 2121 S. Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights. Here is the schedule leading up to the show:

July 16 – 7-10 at Forest View

July 18 – Capannari’s Night
July 19 – Possible extra rehearsal TBD
July 21 – ORCHESTRA RUN THRU & POTLUCK at St. MARK

July 23 – DRESS/TECH REHEARSAL at Forest View
July 24 – DRESS/TECH REHEARSAL at Forest View

Many thanks to the cast, crew and parents who showed their support for TKP by marching in the 4th of July parade. We handed out almost 2000 fliers promoting the upcoming show!

Volunteers Needed to Promote Show

To fill the house we must promote the show! It’s much more fun for the kids to perform in front of a packed theater! Parents and cast are needed to to spend a few hours handing out show fliers. We have dates and venues available through July 23, so there will are enough opportunities for everyone to help. A round of applause to Abby Ipjian, Phoebe Kohl, Julia Seaman, Sophie Gillespie and Beth Seaman for handing out show fliers at the farmers market!
